Lt. Robert S. White was a uniformed West Virginia State Police Officer for 30 years. He worked as a Forensic Chemist, spending his last 10 years as a Trace Evidence Supervisor and Director of the West Virginia State Police Forensic Laboratory.
Lt. White was a supervisor of the breath testing program for many years and performed analysis of biological samples for alcohol thousands of times. He initiated the Gunshot Residue (GSR) program for the state of West Virginia and has performed GSR testing for 28 years. His other areas of expertise are arson analysis, drug analysis, paint, glass, fibers, hair, semen, and blood.
